I like the small ball. It will at least translate better over time and we won't have these massive unexpected homer droughts.
Instead we'll just never score because we won't hit.

USA Today's Bob Nightengale reports that the Braves are "on the verge" of acquiring Trevor Cahill from the Diamondbacks.
Nightengale says Atlanta will pay about half of the $12 million Cahill is owed in 2015. The right-hander also has a $13 million club option or $300,000 buyout for 2016 and a $13.5 million club option or $500,000 buyout for 2017. Cahill held an ugly 5.61 ERA and 1.61 WHIP last season but did boast a career-high 8.5 K/9 rate. He's using a higher arm slot this spring and has posted a 3.60 ERA with 10 strikeouts over 10 frames. The addition of Cahill likely bumps Eric Stults to the Braves' bullpen and could open up a rotation spot in Arizona for Archie Bradley.

How has Folty looked this spring? Not good. Someone can correct me, but from what Ive read he was given the chance to be the 5th starter but got shelled and will start the season in AAA |
