I see what you're getting at, but Chip seems fairly certain that the big money donors want Shaka to be the guy that leads Texas BBall as they make the move to the PAC 12/Big Ten/ACC/Independent/UN Security Council  |

Hoping Shaka is still at VCU when Billy D inevitably heads to the NBA. Marshall seems like the safer hire but Shaka's enthusiasm should be a great recruiting tool.

Multiple Texas officials have confirmed that Texas athletic director Steve Patterson plans to fly to Richmond tomorrow to meet with Smart and bring him back to Austin on Thursday night. The plan at that point would be for Smart to see everything on campus and around the city of Austin the following day. Should be a busy next 48 hours,

But, if Lavin am Alford can get to multiple Sweet 16s it illustrates how easy it is to win here. Shit 4-5 coaches have made the final four or championship game at UCLA. IF IF IF Howland and Brown had also won no one would say only Coach Wooden had won it all. Bartow and Cunningham also won at UCLA. Shit I forget if it was Farmar or Hazzard who got us to the NIT final. If we hung everything we'd have no more room. Anyway fuck Shaka. |
