Truth hurts. He is a good coach. But, if Lavin am Alford can get to multiple Sweet 16s it illustrates how easy it is to win here. Shit 4-5 coaches have made the final four or championship game at UCLA. IF IF IF Howland and Brown had also won no one would say only Coach Wooden had won it all. Bartow and Cunningham also won at UCLA. Shit I forget if it was Farmar or Hazzard who got us to the NIT final. If we hung everything we'd have no more room. Anyway fuck Shaka. Were there ever any reports on how much UCLA was willing to pay Shaka or did he turn them down before it ever got that far? I wouldn't be surprised if it came down to Texas offering a much larger contract, but I'd also accept the argument that Smart just couldn't handle any mora competition. |

Yeah but the UCLA job is in a poor state for high school basketball. @poweshow I am not saying the UCLA job is a good job. I am saying a mediocre coach can do better at ucla than most other places. We Stevens bitch. |

Guerrero our AD is in love with Stevens. I think he is the only who legitimately turn us down. Every one else "pulled out" before they got an offer. I am drunk but truth is everyone knew Stevens was going to get the offer so people started pulling their names out before. I wanted Shaka cause shit LA athletes with him at the helm. Fuck. |
