Ok so this new Snapchat update is bullshit. Have yall read about what the symbols next to people's names mean? I update snapchat as infrequently as possible. I hate updating things, period---not because I'm sure it will fix minor bugs that don't effect me, but because there is ALWAYS an update to install (mainly Itunes and ps4---they should be limited to one update per month). |

I set my phone to autoupdate my apps thinking it would just be easier that way. They quit working eventually if you don't so you're kinda forced to so I just made it where it takes zero effort on my part |

Idk why Snapchat is bound and determined to put people on blast and make things scandalous. I rejoiced when they got rid of the publicly visible best friends. Now this passive aggressive shit? It's a really fun app but I don't see why people have to know my business. Also apparently I'm on a 17 day "snapstreak" with a girl that is like a 3 maybe :/

It still freaked me out.
They could also potentially be trying to bring on more than one.
It's a new team and the data scientist said they wanted to bring on multiple data guys at some point

My only advice to interviewing is RESEARCH the shit out of what the company does, what the team does, anything thought leadership pieces they have released. The better you can relate what you have done to what they currently do, the better chance you have at getting the job.

The person recruiting me gave me a few materials which led me to find more readings. Ultimately, I think my ability to articulate my understanding of their business model got me the job. I wouldn't have been able to do that unless I had done my research. I read any whitepaper they produced. I read their Annual Report so I could ask questions about the growth of their division. I completed 6 30 minute interviews before I got hired. |
