#chickenandwaffles #hashhouse  the chicken/waffles/bacon all look good but what in the fuck is that garnish? fried leeks and cherry tomatoes. There was also a small tree of some sort planted in the chicken when it came. The bacon is in the waffles |

Florida is full of stupid people. On talk radio the other morning they were talking about a couple that got arrested for selling fake golden tickets to heaven. They were selling pieces of wood, spray painted gold with the words "1 ticket to heaven" written in marker, as real gold tickets to heaven. I get that some people would fall for that, but when they got arrested they had sold enough of them at $99 each that they had over $10K in cash on them. Won't be laughing when I'm looking down at you from heaven, motherfucker. |

Obviously he isn't stealing peoples' pensions but he's a fraud nonetheless. He's been busted fabricating evidence to support his outrageous theories which calls into question whether he believes any of his nonsense in the first place. He basically mocks academia because they actually have to adhere to the scientific process. And now he's hocking random theories about consciousness. I disagree with a point he makes without discrediting every view he espouses), but I don't think it's a far-fetched idea to accuse those in the academic realm of valuing form over substance, or being to 'rigid' in their belief systems. Nobody's forcing people to go out and buy his books. I'd think if he was as much of a fraud as you seem to think he is he wouldn't be rich and/or people wouldn't be buying his books. Being on Pacific time is weird to me still. Coming from central Prime Time was 7-10, etc. out here it's 8-11 and everything is 1 hour on the clock behind. 8 seems a little late of a start to me.
