It looks like the prosecutor moved to detain him without any bail/bond but the judge allowed the 15,000 bail you mentioned. You need to download the complaint to see what they charged. I can't see where to download that on Pacer.

I can't see where to download that on Pacer. You should be able to run a docket report, which will have numbered entries. Click the entry for the complaint and it should be a PDF. Since this is criminal and they may have an investigation open, some of it may be sealed from the public.

yea i opened everything it would let me and didn't see the charges.. but maybe i missed something. A couple things it said i couldn't open.

My friend wanted me to look into a cash bond (like we could come up with 15k cash lol). I know some states have laws that say any cash bond can be used to pay fines and court costs if defendant is found guilty (he definitely is). Anyone know if that applies to federal bail as well?

But there's no way me and 2 or 3 people could or would raise 15K that we might not get back seeing as they could assign that bail to pay any fines, etc at the end of his case.
