So for you guys that do criminal law. How fucked is someone that gets caught with 25 pounds of weed and a firearm? He got arrested in Texas, not sure by who but he caught a federal trafficking charge. He's a first time offender, but probably won't flip on who sent him down there because he's fucking stupid, as evidenced by going down there in the first place. Pretty pissed he threw his life away to be a mule for someone.

I'm assuming the western district.
Also the phone number he called from to tell us he got arrested was an investigators cell, that when you Google it, pops up as some transportation company in west Texas. DEA maybe?

are you asking for a "friend"? No I'm sitting at work. But yes he is a friend, just a royally fucked one. My brother already had to fire him, he can't work for their security company with that kind of record. Even if he makes bail someone will have to go get him. I'm sure they seized his vehicle. |

Googled the guy and he's been practicing law since 2003. No idea if it's good or bad that he's still a public defender. |

Been practicing for 12 years and still a public defender? Some people genuinely enjoy the job. I'd question though why he's gone from Pennsylvania to Colorado and now to Texas. |
