Woke up at 430a.m. with a terrible gassy feeling in my stomach. Went to the shitter and just went through what felt like 15 layers of shit and gas. I'd fart...then ooze some shit...fart....shit. Terrible process going through those layers. Empty now...but tired.

Prototard is in Columbus today. It would be a shame if I lost control of my car in the rain and ran him over.

I am not a running expert by any means but when I have achieved my best fitness level, I did an interval workout twice a week.
3 minutes at 3.7-4.0 speed at 10 elevation 2 minutes at 6.9-7.2 speed at 0 elevation 1 minute at 3.7-4.0 speed at 0 elevation
Repeat that three times (four times total)
When I would get in pretty good shape I would follow that interval workout up with anywhere from a 4-9 minute run at 6.8-7.2.

dukebuckeye ....do you have any exercise history with running intervals? If so, how did you go about them? Not exactly sure what you are asking, but I do interval running more often now than before. I used to just run for distance ~5-10 miles per run. Now I will do a warm up mile, then sprint a half mile/run a half mile and repeat that until the final mile which I use as a cool down. I usually go for ~5 miles. I don't know if it is better for you- I have heard it is, but I am kinda just doing a personal beta test to gather my own personal thoughts.

Interesting. I've been doing this for a week... One mile at 6.5 Then a tenth of a mile at 3.7...tenth of a mile at 9.0...back down to 3.7 back up to 9.0 for 2 miles. I didn't know if that was the wrong way of doing it. I'd like to get up to 3 or 4 miles of intervals.

It is far less time consuming and after you sprint for a half mile, the jog feels like a walk. It's great. My routine will be 2 minutes on 3.2 (walk), then 9 minutes on 5.7 (warm up jog), then sprint at 7.5-7.8 for 3-4 minutes, then back to 6.0 for 4-5 minutes, then sprint at 7.5-7.8 for 3-4 minutes, then back to 6.0 for 4-5 minutes, repeat until done.

Tony Alford's first impression after seeing Curtis Samuel in a drill in winter conditioning: "What the hell was that?! He was like a flash."

MyFanPage Add Buddy Ignore Thoughts from after practice Thursday 4/2 Reply
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My eyes ended up drifting while I was interviewing Erick Smith, and I noticed J.T. Barrett staying long after practice to throw some balls. Obviously wasn't moving all that much, but as a passer he looks better than ever for what it's worth.
Tyvis Powell remains one of the funniest people I have ever talked to, and chatting with him and Vonn at the same time was great. The two said they have built up a huge rapport on the field and they have an understand of where the other is going to be and that gives them confidence during plays.
But as good as those two are, that doesn't mean they are invincible, so if an injury does come up that is where Erick Smith steps in. Chris Ash and Powell both expressed confidence that Smith can come in without the team missing a beat. Smith said he has grown a lot since last season, and he thinks his greatest strength is putting pad on pad and hitting people.
Tony Alford and Ezekiel Elliott also chatted with the media, with Alford saying he doesn't want to just fill Stan Drayton's shoes, he wants to be himself in the role and leave his own impact. When asked what it was like to come to Ohio State knowing Elliott was there, Alford's answer was part-joke and part-praise, "I don't know. is it easy to drive a Lexus?"
