QUICK. EVERYONE. Come see how important Ari Wasserman is
Ari Wasserman @ariwasserman 2m2 minutes ago It's always weird when you see players you made recruiting calls to on TV hoisting up a national title trophy. Okafor was always nice.

I would love to see Dontre interact with Cameron Johnston He could probably just make up stories about kangaroos and have Dontre's undivided attention for hours.

I'd love to see Dontre never touch the ball again. Why? Because I don't like him, I'm in a bad mood, he talked trash to Bosa, and I'm in a bad mood

Just got this message when refreshing the mainboard site, which is the first time anything has loaded on that page in over a week:
"The board is currently being upgraded. Please check back later."
Progress...

Progress... In the "update" thread chan (allegedly) said that the board may be back up tomorrow. I don't know if they decided to go with a fresh start (none of our old shit) or what. The post wasn't very clear.

I just don't find myself hating this Wiscy team like I normally do. Maybe It's because Kaminsky actually seems like a cool dude off the court or maybe it's just because I didn't have high expectations for OSU so losing to them wasn't as annoying as usual. I felt the same way til Bo popped off about the refs and Duke doing "rent-a-player" after the game. Fuck bo. Deal with it.

Fuck Wisconsin. They'll always be the program that's just not quite good enough. Fuck Bo Ryan. Fuck Koenig and his stupid fucking haircut. Fuck that nigga Kaminsky. Fuck Sam Dekker. Fuck Nigel Hayes and his shitty ass brother. Fuck Scott Tolzein. Fuck Bret Beliema. I don't know much about Paul Chryst yet but fuck him too. I'm sad Gary Andersen left because he fucking sucked. Fuck Russell Wilson for associating with that school. Fuck Melvin Gordon. Fuck Ron Dayne. Fuck John Stocco. Fuck their fanbase. Fuck their stupid style of play in both sports. Fuck whoever else from Wisconsin that wasn't even worthy of me remembering to say fuck you to as well.

I actually didn't mind Wisconsin bball this year. I actually liked their team. Completely agree....however Bo's comments after the game were very pissy....I didn't like that at all. Whether you are happy with the officiating or not don't act like that. Then he throws the "rent-a-player" comment out there and he really sounded like a baby. I don't like this era of basketball as much as the next guy but it is the way of the world right now and until something changes this is what you have. It is far from a new thing with one and dones.

I think the reason we all were able to not completely hate UW basketball this year was because they didn't really have a polar bear like they always seemed to. Plenty of whites, as per usual, but they were all longer, more athletic than the typical Wisconsin big men. Dekker was incredible to watch vs. Arizona, Kentucky, etc. and Kaminsky is just very talented. Forced a lot late last night when Duke clamped down defensively but still had some great moments.

Wallace looks nice, but his throwing motion is very alarming. Guarantano is much more of a pure passer that I like.

Team Wallace. He'll be a beast in this system and isn't a sissy boy scared of competition.

Practice updates:
-"Noah Brown has probably had as good a spring as I could have wanted ... he's looking like a guy that is going to contribute heavily in the fall." - Zach Smith
-On Curtis Samuel meeting with Smith's room, the WR coach said that Samuel could play pretty much any position because he is so talented. He is getting a full spring at receiver in order to develop that skillset. He already has developed theRB skills. Jalin Marshall has moved to the outside "just for the spring" Smith said. Doesn't think he will play out there, but it is good reps against press man coverage.
-Dontre Wilson can't run routes right now, he is working on ball skills and developmental things, Smith said. He, along with other injured guys like Mike Thomas (sports hernia), are running on the under water treadmill while doing ball work.
-In an ideal world, Samuel will be playing both running back and H-back, Smith said.
-"Jalin can play outside and hes going to have a full spring of doing that so if we need to or want to, he can." In the fall the best guys will get on the field and right now Marshall is still the best guy for the slot receiver, Smith just likes the flexibility that playing him outside this spring will develop.
-At the end of the season Dontre Wilson was able to play, but was one play from re-injuring his foot, Smith said. It's healing great now, according to the coach.
-Lack of clarity at quarterback is not impacting the WR development, Smith said.
-Noah is working at a number of different spots. Right now he is at the X with Mike Thomas out. "Even this spring when Mike was practicing, I was moving him around a bunch. I told him going into spring the mentality is to get you ready to start at all three spots," Smith said.
-On playmaking Smith said it is really all about giving guys the opportunity to do it. If they can't do it in practice they certainly won't be able to do it in a big game.
-Kerry Coombs: "I cant' imagine anyone tackles more than we do."
-Who has had the best spring in Coombs unit? Eli Apple
-At the corner opposite Apple, Coombs said Gareon Conley has had a really good spring. Added some weight to be more physical.
-Damon Webb is one of the most competitive guys on the team, Coombs said. Webb is working at both nickel and corner in his first spring on campus. Coombs added that Marshon Lattimore should be able to do some live work next week.
-Coombs asked about the wide receivers, said "Michael Thomas is a superior player" who had a great spring before the injury. "Noah Brown has had a great spring for a young player .... Jalin Marshall is playing a variety of positions" which will make the Buckeyes a better team.
-Coombs said he doesn't think Championship Celebration, White House trip does anything but motivate the guys. Inspires them to get back
-Cardale Jones is "significantly" better now than at the end of the year, Coombs said. "He has the biggest arm in college football."
