Wait why the fuck does Duke only have 8 scholarship players? One transferred mid semester in December and they kicked off another guy earlier in the year. Not sure about the other missing schollies. I'm sure the guy who transferred is kind of kicking himself right about now. |

I wouldn't put him above wooden but I will say what he's done in a different era of the game is almost as impressive 5 NCAA Championships 91, 92, 99, 2010, 2015 which is basically 3, arguably 4 different eras in the game in which he's won a championship. Not to forget he's made 12 Final 4s which is tied with Wooden. On the flip side he also has had some pretty bad tourney losses like Mercer and Lehigh recently. |

Coack K is #2 behind Wooden. Not really fair because CBB is totally different these days but whatev...he has adapted into the 1 and done era plus his Finsl Four stretch in the Laettner era is awesome considering the fact it was the golden age of the ACC

Larger tourney fields, more parity and he built a program down the street from one of basketball's established powerhouses. It's not a monstrous gap, but it's there.

At least there is someone with accomplishments that are at least worthy of being discussed unlike supreme faggits like Dean Smith.
I do think he is clearly the second best coach in history, but the numbers involved when you discuss UCLA basketball are in a different universe. It's like the Red Army, yeah, it was a different era but how do you describe an army of 6,000,000 rapin' and killing psycopaths to the Blue's Clues generation? You just can't do it...
It's on another level... The coaching, the talent, the teams, yes the cheating... It blows anything we know away. Your kids understand that Duke may slip a dollar or two under the table, but tell me if they can sleep at night after you share the stories of Sam Gilbert paying for abortions in Westwood to keep the Wizard's dream alive.
