Every time i see something about Paul Walker now it gets me a little emotional, never felt this way until i saw him pull up in the white car at the end next to Vin and those pictures

It was a bold strategy the way they did the last ten minutes. Basically saying fuck the fourth wall and making it more about the actor than the character.
Glad they did it that way, though.

I thought the ending was perfect. Especially since, by all accounts, Walker was a really good dude off camera. It also seems like that cast is particulary tight with each other in real life.
Mini rant:
I fucking DESPISE people that try to make the death of someone famous into a soapbox. "Everyone is mourning Paul Walker's death, but no one is talking about these other deaths..." Blah blah to the fucking blah. Walker brought happiness to people's lives for a couple hours. No one is disrespecting the death of anyone else just because they recognize it. Especially since it's not like he OD'ed or something.

I connected to him a lot as his character because i grew up with it and watched it hundreds of times but i was more upset that he died because of the person he is in real life, he is a guy who deserved to be on this planet and did good things..sucks that has to happen to someone like him.

Really liked the way they did the ending.I bet it was hard for those guys to film that part. They all seemed to be really close.

Ok. I'm drunk and watching these movies again online until I fall asleep. We've all admitted they require a serious suspension of disbelief to watch, and they really embrace it. Just curious which part of the last three films (when they really raised the bar) made you really check your brain.
For me...
5 - Surviving ramping a car off a ledge into a lake was tough to beat, but successfully dragging a huge safe through the streets of Rio in two Chargers is the obvious winner.
6 - Tie. 1) An airplane runway that is approximately 143 miles long. 2) The entire sequence involving Dom grabbing Letty out of midair and both of them surviving uninjured.
7 - Dropping cars from a plane with parachutes that have no apparent control mechanisms which happen to all (except one) land facing the correct direction in a tiny window of area.

For me in everything that happened in 7, flying an attack chopper and drone in the skies of LA for half an hour. We all know in today's age that door shit would have been shot down in 2 minutes.

Beach scene...could tell it wasn't them acting minus Tyrese for that one part to ease it a little but when they are all looking on and it's Paul's brother really...that shit was so real. So happy they turned it around this way...and even the phone call between Jordana Brewster and Paul was added in, and just an emotional scene between the two.
and glad it's making the budget back in the first weekend globally.
$140+ million open DOMESTICALLY. Way to kickoff the summer blockbusters

It felt a little "off" in the film, and would add gravity to there being a final catalyst that would cause the Brian character to walk away.

Has anyone in here seen the short film by Vin Diesel, Los Bandoleros? What he's doing while Brian is with Tyrese in 2 Fast 2 Furious and the lead up to Fast & Furious 4

Great movie, once again. At times, it was difficult to leave my brain at ease and just enjoy the movie. Looking forward to 8.

Lucas Black and Rhonda Rousey were so horrible. he's not in this one is he? worst male actor in Hollywood Yea he has a small part, and even in those couple minutes the shittiness of his acting shines. Same with Rousey.

they removed the end credit scene, not sure if it was every theater but I know they wanted to introduce Idris Elba for 8 but left it alone because they wanted to keep it nice for Paul's tribute.

I thought not having and end credits scene was definitely the right call. Half of the theater was crying at the end of my showing. The shift in tone an end credits scene with that actor would have been jarring and cheapened the tribute to Walker. Also, pretty surprised that actor is linked to the villain in Fast 8, since he's already been locked in as the big bad in another huge budget sequel.
