Question to people who hate/dislike Tiger:
Where would you rank him on the list of all-time golfers? I, as noted, love the guy and would put him #2 behind Jack and it looks like that's where he'll finish, until someone bumps him out.

If it was any other course I would say he misses the cut, but being Augusta I think he does....if I had to put a percentage on it 55% he makes/45% he misses.... That being said I like - Spieth, Day and Stenson to win.....cheering for Fowler, Spieth and Day to win it....and basically any non Euro player. |

I've been in Kentucky all weekend, heading back this afternoon. Saturday's results have made this an outstanding trip.
To their credit, most of them have acknowledged what an average in-game coach Cal is.

Catholic schools are on Spring Break this week, so my wife and her sisters decided to take the kids to the Reds Opening Day parade. I have to laugh to that my nephew, tallest in the middle, refused to conform. His dad is from Cleveland so he roots for Cleveland sports teams, and he came to the Reds Opening Day parade dressed in Cleveland Browns gear.

He is a great recruiter that gets great talent to play great together. That is a great coach IMO. |

They were so poor on the defensive end on switching screens combined with taking the air out of the ball with five minutes left when they had Wisky on the ropes....that was Kindergarten coaching.

In retrospect, this was Calipari’s attitude all year. Remember how every time he got in front of a microphone, he made the conversation about his “guys”? I’m just worried about MY GUYS. It doesn’t matter what the other team does because as long as MY GUYS bring effort, MY GUYS will win. I used to think it was his way of tightening Kentucky’s circle or showing how much he cared for his players, and both reasons could still be true.
But then I watched Calipari refuse to stop switching screens because switching screens is what HIS GUYS have done all year, even though that strategy was creating mismatches for a Wisconsin offense whose priority was to find and exploit mismatches. I watched him give HIS GUYS the freedom to run the offense when it appeared Kentucky needed a more structured attack. I watched him try to get HIS GUYS pumped when things went south, as if he didn’t realize Kentucky’s problems were mostly tactical.1 That’s when it hit me: Maybe Cal really can’t comprehend that another team is actually better than his. If Cal acknowledges in the first five minutes — or, you know, in the week leading up to the game — that Wisconsin really is every bit as good as HIS GUYS, maybe 40-0 would still be a possibility." |
