The callousness of the cop is what strikes me. He has no reaction to what he just did. It's like, "Ho-hum, just shot a negro. Just gonna wait on back up so we can sprinkle some crack on him".

I bet Arkadin knows both the officer and the victim. how could the officer not know him? He was the black guy in the coast guard. |

Ah ok, I didn't catch that part. It could have just been the police report of the officer that shot the guy, but it says "reports" so one or more of the other officers present may have said the same. If that's the case, I agree that it's bullshit, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for them to be arrested. At most, I'd expect them to receive a slap on the wrist, but maybe I'm wrong. I also don't see how they didn't realize they were being taped. The guy filming appears to be crouched down when the officer fires his weapon, but after the guy goes down it's pretty obvious that he's standing relatively close to where the cops are and in plain sight. Must not have seen him earlier and just tried to play it cool assuming he was attracted because of the gun shots. Although that cop should have been doing everything possible to get that video. Fucking disgusting what that cop did. or he should have not pulled a guy over a dead brake light. North Charleston already has a high violent crime rate. A fucking dead brake light wasn't making the neighborhood safer. Especially not with a cop like the lazy ex coast guard guy who can't run. |
